I was hoping for alot more for 3.85 a bottle. Wonderful lable, good job it sold the beer. One thing though, Iíll only buy this one once. Iím a little dissipointed. Tasted a little old with that oh so familiar imported skunk aftertaste, however faint. Jst enough to make this beer boring and way overpriced. Oh, well... have to try new stuff once. Suprised to see this from an outstanding brewing co.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
550ml bottle into pint glass. Beautiful caramel malt nose. Golden beer, medium carbonation, solid white head. Bitter, thin mouthfeel. Abrupt metallic hop finish. Slight very late sweetness. Interesting take on a lager. The nose is all malt but the taste is hops.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Excellent lager, very idiosyncratic hoppy, lemony aroma, good carbonation, very refreshing, clearly English bitter or maybe pale ale influenced the brewers at Sam Smithís when they came up with this. And an equally idiosyncratic label, too.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours golden with next to no head. Aroma of apple cider and prunes. Tastes like lager with a stewed apple kick. Mediocre at best.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a pale yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. The nose is sweet cereal. The palate is medium thin body - lager body. The taste is light malt with some bitterness. So, itís "organic" and then itís pasteurized. How "organic" is that?

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma: Semi-sweet honey cereal without much hop presence; maybe a little lemony. Appearance: Still yellow pour with a ring of white head. Flavor: Sweetness pares back a little with slightly toasted honey cereal; just a little lemon towards the finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Liked this alright, but actually preferred the regular organic lager.

A very simple and average piwo with some yeast and rye upfront. Watery taste with nearly no taste. Some butter in the back rising the potential. Still a simple one.

Keg at the Fitzroy Tavern, served in attractive glassware. Pale yellow, sparkling, clear, big foamy white head, thick lacing. Aroma is musty lager. Body is medium, spritzy, slightly foamy. Taste is soft biscuit and straw, soft bitterness. This is a very good lager.
