Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lagerís flavour, purity and condition.

I was hoping for alot more for 3.85 a bottle. Wonderful lable, good job it sold the beer. One thing though, Iíll only buy this one once. Iím a little dissipointed. Tasted a little old with that oh so familiar imported skunk aftertaste, however faint. Jst enough to make this beer boring and way overpriced. Oh, well... have to try new stuff once. Suprised to see this from an outstanding brewing co.

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a golden color with a decent white head and lacing. The aroma is corn malt, fruit, and hay. The taste is corn, bread, slight hop bitterness, hay, and grain. This had a very crisp and clean quality to it with nice carbonation. For the style, itís excellent.

On tap at Top1 Forever restaurant, Royal Victoria Dock, London. Pale golden color, low white head. Aroma and flavour are more malty than hoppy, this is more of a Bavarian Helles than a Pilsener. Moderate diacetyl comes through as the beer warms up a little.

Bottle. Bettyís, York. Clear yellow. Ring of white. Grassy hop. Sweet malt. Taste is sweet, and light, grassy hop bitter. Crisp palate. A bit thin. Finishes more of the same. Vomit burps. Not great.

Attractive golden lager. Clean crisp flavour with hoppy notes. Lengthy bitter finish which slightly lessened my enjoyment of the beer.

500ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn) (5+:4:5:3:11=2.8+)
Soft vanilla, some orange, and light grains. Beautiful tight persistent head over a bold golden body. Simple light grainy taste, less interesting than aroma. Fullish palate. Want some hops in the finish, thereís almost none. Very nice lager, but still lacking a few details.

20 oz bottle poured into a english pint glass. The aroma of fresh grass and hemp is noticeable along with a light, acute, clean lemony citrus followed by bread dough and grains. It pours clear with a pale straw hue and a light effervescent nature. Itís head is white with a filmy surface and a very light retention and lace. The taste is a medium light sweet and light bitter. The texture is a thin oily with a lght, soft fizz carbonation and a light body. The flavor is a bit of lemon, a light floral hemp, and bread grains that has a finish thatís crisp and clean with a light spice and a honey slickness, as well as lighter notes of cornbread and citrus. Itís refreshing aftertaste is mild, spice and bread.

Bottle. CLear gold in colour, with a decent, white, head and moderate fizziness. A crisp lager, with some hay, a hint of leafy hop, solid malts and a lengthy, bitter, finish. A pleasant lager.

Pours an amber from a bottle. Aroma of corn, skunky sweet grain flavor with bitter soapy finish. Somewhat oily mouthfeel. Meh.

Maker: Samuel Smith, Tadcaster, Yorkshire, England *** Beer: Pure Brewed Organic Lager (bottled, 355ml) *** Style: Premium Lager *** ALC.VOL.: 5.0% *** "Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish." [brewery notes] *** Colour: Bright golden yellow, clear. Medium fluffy head. *** Nose: Floral notes, barley, whiff of citrus. Pretty much Pils-ish. Active carbonation. *** Texture: Medium body, hardly watery. *** Taste: Fresh barley, straw, light citrus, some sweetish malts in the background. Malty sweetness and some hoppy bitterness balanced in the middle. Mild bitterness in the finish and asftertaste, together with the grains. *** Impressions: Iíve had this beer many, many times on tap at one of my favorite pubs, The Chandos in London. On the whole I find it superior on tap, as the carbomnation is a wee bit too active in the bottled version. Otherwise, this is a superior, refershing lager, with some depth to it (as much as the style allows, really). My go to English lager that I drink as a thirst-quencher when in England.
