COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lagerís flavour, purity and condition.

Keg at the Fitzroy Tavern, served in attractive glassware. Pale yellow, sparkling, clear, big foamy white head, thick lacing. Aroma is musty lager. Body is medium, spritzy, slightly foamy. Taste is soft biscuit and straw, soft bitterness. This is a very good lager.

Has a light straw golden appearance - fizzy initial appearance, nice aroma, taste very refreshing and very enjoyable for a lager as not my usual choice

Every country makes íem it would seem. Even a legendary brewery such as this canít make it taste much different than typical Macro fare. Itís cleaner and less corny, shitty and terrible but it still hearkens towards that classic bland taste. Being shallow gained this beer some points because it looks as good as a typical Lager, premium or otherwise, is ever going to look. Lightly spicy and grassy hops, cereal and some nondescript malt sweetness round out smell and taste. I would take this over a Macro any day but letís be honest, itís still a Lager-Boy football beer in a fancy bottle.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 11/15/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden color with a 1 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops ,and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean and robust flavors for a pale lager as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent pale lager style. All around great balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2014 330ml bottle served in a Thumbler glass. A: Pours a pale yellow color forming a small white bubbled head which dissipates quickly leaving practically no lacings in the glass. S: Sweet grains and honey, basically. Lager yeasts and some flowery hops. T: Follows the nose, strong notes of sweet pale grains and honey. Bready and crispy. Lager style yeasts and flowery hops. In overall, a slightly sweet beer with a nice hops bitterness balance. M: Watery light body. Medium carbonation. Grainy aftertaste. O: Excellent drinkability. One of the best Lagers Iíve ever had.
