2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 schoolofchuck (135) - Kansas, USA - DEC 29, 2012
This should be interesting. When I think of English beer, I think of the famous stouts, ales, and IPA’s. I don’t normally associate lagers with England. Here goes: Pale golden color with high density white head. Has that yeasty coconut smell that American lagers have and this one is pronounced even before the head fades away. Taste is mild sweetness, but to put it in perspective; a high-quality version of an American lager. It has that yeasty-coconut smell with creamed corn characteristics. I don’t like it. For a good lager, you have to go to Bavaria or the Czech Republic. I’ll leave the ales and stouts to the Brits, they do it well.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 rumproasts (1033) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 19, 2012
bottle. deep golden with big head. lots of carbonation. mild flavor, but pleasant. there’s nothing wrong with this, it’s quite a good lager, but i don’t know who would get excited about it either.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Caytinator (576) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Golden yellow, medium head, no lacing. Light and pleasant aroma, herbs & grains. Light taste, almost perfect for the style, well developed. Nothing too interesting or complex, but it more than satisfies. I want more.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jackl (2578) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2012
Tap @ The Fitzroy Tavern. The pour’s deep gold with a big white head. The nose is sweet grain, some crisp golden apple and honey. The taste is light, crisp grain. General sweet malt flavors. Round, smooth honeyed pear and light banana. Light body, active carbonation. Overall, not too bad.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 crazyvin (1692) - New York, USA - NOV 4, 2012
A clear light golden color with a white head that faded quickly. Aroma had a light toasted malt aroma with some mild indistinguishable fruit. Flavor was nice and crisp although it was one dimensional malts it was still refreshing. Smooth and easy to drink. Overall it was a little to delicate to excite my interest but I did not find it to be a bad beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JStax (1669) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Poured from a 355 ml bottle. Pours a translucent gold with a good froth of white head. The aroma has notes of corn and bread. Very sweet aroma. The taste is sweet and grainy. I can’t say this is a very pleasant tasting beer, but that’s just because it doesn’t have much to taste. Not much in the aftertastes.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JWGWulff (3) - - OCT 26, 2012 does not count
Overall, I was a little bit disappointed from this beer. I bought this beer at a convenient store located on a military base in Hawaii. It reminded me of a cheap macro brew beer that I could have bought in a 24 pack.

Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear yellow with a large white head and a light floral aroma. There is a thin light malt flavor with a fruity finish. Quite refreshing, but not a lot of flavor.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bhensonb (8985) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 16, 2012
355 bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours pale gold with a frothy creamy 4 finger white head. Aroma is sweetly bready with hints of citrus and light pitted fruits. Med minus body. Flavor sort of fits the aroma, but it’s a very mild set of flavors. Still much more interesting than American macros.
