COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Golden colour, floral bouquet and light flavour of newly mowed hay.

Brewed with great care using only malted barley, hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.

The cold maturation period allows the bottom-fermenting yeasts to secondary ferment and improve the lager’s flavour, purity and condition.

A clear light golden color with a white head that faded quickly. Aroma had a light toasted malt aroma with some mild indistinguishable fruit. Flavor was nice and crisp although it was one dimensional malts it was still refreshing. Smooth and easy to drink. Overall it was a little to delicate to excite my interest but I did not find it to be a bad beer.

Keg at the Tivoli, Morecambe. Pours with a head. Aromas of chief corn, light herbal hops. Taste is more of the same. Crisp finish.

From a bottle. Malty aroma, smooth with minimal bitterness. Not too bad, won’t rush to drink it again.

550ml bottle into pint glass. Beautiful caramel malt nose. Golden beer, medium carbonation, solid white head. Bitter, thin mouthfeel. Abrupt metallic hop finish. Slight very late sweetness. Interesting take on a lager. The nose is all malt but the taste is hops.

Excellent lager, very idiosyncratic hoppy, lemony aroma, good carbonation, very refreshing, clearly English bitter or maybe pale ale influenced the brewers at Sam Smith’s when they came up with this. And an equally idiosyncratic label, too.

Pours golden with next to no head. Aroma of apple cider and prunes. Tastes like lager with a stewed apple kick. Mediocre at best.

Pours a pale yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. The nose is sweet cereal. The palate is medium thin body - lager body. The taste is light malt with some bitterness. So, it’s "organic" and then it’s pasteurized. How "organic" is that?

Aroma: Semi-sweet honey cereal without much hop presence; maybe a little lemony. Appearance: Still yellow pour with a ring of white head. Flavor: Sweetness pares back a little with slightly toasted honey cereal; just a little lemon towards the finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Liked this alright, but actually preferred the regular organic lager.

A very simple and average piwo with some yeast and rye upfront. Watery taste with nearly no taste. Some butter in the back rising the potential. Still a simple one.

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a clear deep golden colour with an low head and medium body. Aroma of straw and hops. Taste of hops, straw, citrus fruits, hay, barn and white bread. Crisp one with a mild and boring finish. Average lager beer.

Keg at the Fitzroy Tavern, served in attractive glassware. Pale yellow, sparkling, clear, big foamy white head, thick lacing. Aroma is musty lager. Body is medium, spritzy, slightly foamy. Taste is soft biscuit and straw, soft bitterness. This is a very good lager.
