Mitch_Wayne (31), Kokkola, Finland Aug 7, 2008 Good barley wine, having something very distinctive about, notes of whiskey really surprised me. Sweet but not too much so, a lesson many barley wines should take into heart. You can taste the alcohol but I am not too bothered about it, the fruity flavors and the nice malty taste more than make up for it. martinboer (1301), Amsterdam, Netherlands Jul 15, 2008 Bottle from Utobeer, London.
