"Very dark, fairly full in body and packed with flavor. Intense, dry tangy character of roasted barley."

Might be close to the best porter i have ever had. Thick rich on the palate, with flavors of roasted coffee and choc. Drink it.

On the bottle blurb they give a really boring history lesson about their long ass winded history and how some Wine critic fart digs this as a reference;This beer is a little generic , but nice .Lotta roast barley and coffeep a bit winey and dry.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown with a tall off-white head. Subdued aromas of caramel and toasted malts. The flavor had roast and chocolate. Medium body that sweet up front with a slight bitter ending. Kind of disappointed me but maybe it was an older bottle.

Bottle at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas. Quite legitimate. Medium-dark brown with a tan head. Malty aroma with some roastiness and dark fruits. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and nuttiness. Medium-full mouthfeel.

Sample @ BevMo! Mission Valley beer tasting. My favorite beer from the tasting. Pours a deep coffee drown with a nice beige head. Toasted malts and toffee on the nose with some dark fruits. Flavor was nice and toasty.

pours a deep black with a quickly disapating tan head taste of malt however it is a subtle taste this is a decent beer but i would probably pass if offered again

BOTTLE: Pours a dark brown, foamy head. Aroma of fermented grapes and ripe dark fruit. Taste is the same with a dry finish.

Sampled at the Sam Smith tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 2.5.09. Dark brown pour with a medium tan head. Malty nose that is somewhat roasty. Flavor of roasted malt and coffee with a medium finish. Decent porter.
