| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a very dark brown, not quite black, with a moderate linen white head that lasted through three-quarters of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt and some light smoke. The flavor is a bit stronger than the aroma with plenty of roast along with some light smoke. Somewhat dry with moderate bitterness at the finish, which lingers for about ten seconds or so beyond the swallow. A very solid porter. gerardoluna (195), Mexico

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 13, 2008 This is a great Porter. Dark black with thick creamy tan head. The aroma is a little different leading you to expect a strong alcoholic taste. But the taste could not be smoother. Very roasty and little chocolate, but an easy drinker. austone (1036), Turku; Pori, Finland
