very dark brown pour, aroma is very roasty, lots of roasted malt, and some hops, with a touch of ripe fruit. Flavour is sweet, and has a fruity tang. nice porter.

Dark brown with an excellent off-white head that left a good lacing on my glass. Aroma of dark roasted malt. Flavor of dark malts and molasses. Good mouthfeel. Pretty easy drinking too. I love a good porter and this is definitely one to try.

Bottled. Massive aroma with oat meal, chocolate, grains, sweet coffee. Quite dark brown, thick beautiful beige head. Taste... sour! It has some addicting features, with its bitter sourness which continues in the finish. Excellent.

Huuuuge head. Wow is this frothy. Poured slowly from a bottle. Smells wonderfully malty. Deep brown. SLightly bitter in taste and an odd mouthfeel I can;t quite place. Decent!

550ml bottle. Black body with a short light brown head.Sweet aroma of caramel, chocolate, roasted grain with hints of flowers, licorice and nuts. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Dry finish remains bitter with licorice aftertaste. Medium body with a lively carbonation. Watery texture that turns slightly sticky. Easy drinker with nice, bitter finish.

Very dark, almost black color. Poured a nice tan creamy head and left a good amount of lace. The head and lace seemed to lessen the further I got through the beer. Roasted malt aroma and flavor with some coffee taste in there too. Slightly tart and peppery. I can see this being a decent choice during the winter but something to stay away from during the spring and summer (for me). Medium to full bodied and rich. One of the best Porter’s I’ve tried, which generally is not one of my favorite styles.
