Samuel Smiths Taddy Porter

The color is deep, deep brown almost black with a thick tan head. Aromas of toasted malt, nuts, barley, coffee, chocolate and molasses. The taste is toasted malt, chocolate, coffee, slate, earth, barley, hops, and a smooth sutle chocolate coffee finish. this a good and very well made beer that is easy to drink.

Bottle. Black beer with a nice small beige head. Aroma is smoked malt. Flavor is quite smokey through and a nice dry finish. Pleasant bitterness.

The very best porter in the world. Nice pour, with creamy head. Smoky, almost Rauchbier-like odor, and a very robust flavor to boot. What you would expect from this highly-respectable brewery.

poured just about a whole big bottle into a samuel smith’s glass - pours black with a nice thick coffee icecream colored head - head fades quickly. Smells and tastes amazing taste - sweet notes at the end

Bottle. Pours black with think brown head. Nice aroma of roasted malts. Tastes about the same with some chocolate. A little harsh of a finish. Not bad.

ours dark black, aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, candy. Nicely balanced though I do prefer slightly drier, this one has enough dark malt to balance.

Some banana & nuttiness in the aroma. Some nuttiness in the flavor as well. Full bodied, but a little too sticky in the mouth. Definitely a porter yet for some reason it sets itself apart from most other porters.

pours to a nice thick off white head. the aroma is strong with hints of roasted malts. flavor is sweet and malty. short aftertaste of roasted chocolate. enjoyable beer.
