Thanks to my parents who brought it all the way down from Clearwater Fl. Excellent porter, smoky, beefy, woody.

Thanks to Ramenen. Bottle: No aroma, taste is burnt dark chocolate, ashy and woody. Dry finish.

Pourse a dark with thick tan head. Slight fruity notes in aroma but mostly dark roast malt and chocolate malt. Nice dark roast flavor that coats the tounge. Excellent use of hops. Good porter, would buy again.

I like drinking this one ice cold, so the bottle frosts. It isn’t very complex, but it is super easy to drink, and the caramel and mouthfeel are extremely nice at this temperature. It just gets a bit more harsh on the carbonation as it warms, while the chocolate does come out a bit more then.

From the bottle pours dark ebony with a khaki head. You have to find a good store to buy these since they come in the clear bottle. Bitter roasted flavor, a bit smoked character, coffee and bakers chocolate up front, balanced grassy hop finish. Light in the body, very easy to drink.

What we get here is a really pretty beer in a clear glass bottle. In fact you cannot even tell that it is a clear bottle because the beer is that dark. It pours with a small beige head and has a powerful aroma of chocolate and yeast. Then the flavor. I got a thin bodied candy beer. It just tastes like chocolate with minor hints of roasted malts. A little bit of butterscotch there too. Not my favorite.

The color is deep, deep brown almost black with a thick tan head. Aromas of toasted malt, nuts, barley, coffee, chocolate and molasses. The taste is toasted malt, chocolate, coffee, slate, earth, barley, hops, and a smooth sutle chocolate coffee finish. this a good and very well made beer that is easy to drink.

Bottle. Black beer with a nice small beige head. Aroma is smoked malt. Flavor is quite smokey through and a nice dry finish. Pleasant bitterness.
