This beer is a prime example of why porters are my favorite beers. It has the look of a stout (nice creamy thick head), but it does not have the heaviness or the sweetness of many stouts. And it doesn’t have the overpowering bitterness of some porters. Just an excellent beer.

ASPETTO: marrone scurissimo, quasi impenetrabile. Schiuma beige, abbondante e persistente. AROMA: soprattutto tostato. Quando si scalda emerge un tenue marzapane. Aroma comunque poco pronunciato. GUSTO: soprattutto tostato, cacao e liquirizia, ma tutto poco pronunciato. Corpo leggero, carbonizzazione media.

Aroma is roasted coffee, taste is a bit sour black stuff, could have a bit heavier mouthfeel for a 5%abv beer but quite solid really anyway. Somehow fruity.
