18.5 ml bottle. You know, the more I try Sammy Smith brews, the more I am impressed. This is one of my favorite prters. Dark brown, tan head. Clear. Roasty chocolate carmel aroma. Flavor is mellow, with lots of carmel and chocolate. Body is nice and full. Tasty and satisfying session porter.

One of my favorite porters, an almost opaque blackness with a solid tan head, excellent lacing, full-bodied. A semi-sweet chocolate and coffee aroma, major roasted malts! Very nice balance between sweetness and tartness on the palate, a hint of port-like qualities too, good mouthfeel, creamy. A mild and lingering bitterness. World-class porter.

Pours the nice deep color expected of a porter. Nice coffee bean nose. Taste is similar to the nose, with strong coffee and some roasted taste coming through. Quite smooth and well balanced. Very good

This porter was nice and creamy with some interesting sour notes that shone through and a light chocolate finish.

An old favorite for me. Smooth and creamy. Nice head. Very dark, with a rich flavor. Highly recommended.

Big dark beer. From the looks, I’m tempted to say this defines the class. Big, rich aroma. Full mouth feel. Chocolate, black pepper? Clean finish in spite of the heavy malt.

Another big time winner from SS. Jet black with a burst of malt on the nose and on the tongue. As expected, chocolate and coffee notes. Perfect balance and mouthfeel.
