Rich, roasted flavor yet light feeling for a porter. Nice hints of roasted malt and chocolate. Very tasty beer. Excellent porter. DerBiermeister (529), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

It has a full taste, malty & chocolatey, which fills your mouth and makes it happy. My favourite porter thus far. If you want a sweet porter, choose this one. Rich dark brown colour, a portent of things to come, whith an amazing mixture of flavours from chocolate to coffee to oak and on and on. Very easy to drink and not overpowering despite the complexity. Slightly bitter taste offset by the sweet undertones in the flavour. fasteddieIX (55), Rochester, New York, USA

Smells of chocolate and walnut. A strong coffee flavor with a crisp finish. A nice porter. IndianaRed (1562), Boise, Idaho, USA

Even when poured carefully, a persistant dk tan head makes itself known. Very dark. Fist impression is buttery, smooth, and woody/smokey like I think Porters should be. A bit more fizz than I am uesd to for the genre, fuitiness is not here anymore and a bit more bitter trailing aftertaste. Soft and smooth going down. I definately wont mind finishing this 19ouncer.
