Nice tasting beer. Pours well and holds a decent head. Taste was a little thin.

Deep brown in colour with a tan coloured head. Aroma was of chocolate cake, vanilla and cookie dough malt. Flavour was malty (dark bittersweet chocolate, roasty, nuts), coffee, quite sweet. Ends with a long bittersweet chocolate bitterness. Excellent porter.

Pretty good. Pours a dark black color, no light shines through. flavor has coffee on the start, rum in the middle, and dough on the end. has a bit of tart something going on in there, but it's hard to place. I really taste a rum flavor in this. head diminished very quickly. I have no idea as to the quality of this bottle, but i did buy the one furthest back on the shelf, and it had dust on it. I liked it, either way.

A good beer that is very filling. It has the Chocolate-walnut taste. A bit biter but not unbearably so. I think it is a lot like two brothers stout. In saying that I think its really good. I cannot discern the major difference between porter and stout. Woodsy feel and not for the timid. Oatmeal is still this companies best, this needs a more creammy mouth feel.

Beautiful beer. Burnt caramel, liquorice, roasted malt, seeside characterize this beer. Good balanced, full-bodied, sligtly sour tendency.

Another one of my favorites from Samuel Smiths. I loved it. Coffee and chocolate of course. Bitter and sweet and most of all, tasty...

Pours with thick coffee-colored head. Black with amber highlights. Malty aroma. Sweet tasting. Roasted hops, slight hints of coffee, brown sugar. Very clean finish. One of my favorite porters.
