jainsv (112), USA Oct 22, 2006 Updated: Jan 19, 2007 One of the best porter’s I’ve ever had. Samuel Smiths is one of the best brewery’s out there right now, and this porter definately doesn’t disappoint.
nqualls (422), Tennessee, USA Oct 7, 2008 Bottle. Poured a dark brown/almost black with a two finger tan head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee and maybe some alcohol. Flavor was roasty with nuts and bitter chocolate. Good beer. Needs a heavier body though. bconley (40), Fern Park, Florida, USA Oct 6, 2008 Taddy Porter was good. This one smells of chocolate and nice toffee. Very dark in color. I like the roasty quality in the taste. smjohnst (160), , Pennsylvania, USA Sep 30, 2008 This was a really good porter. It actually had a very alcohol type aroma to it but it did not drink that way. It was sweet and smooth. lumpsowers (87), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 29, 2008 Stout-like black pour, nice lacing, great appearance. Aroma is malty and smoky, sips a thick burnt worscestshire sauce. Nutty, malty, almost like a stout, better than average. dm9831 (601), Monee, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2008 pours dark brown, fluffy tan head that laces pleasantly. aroma of roasted malt, hint of coffee. the coffe is more pronounced in the flavor, with a trace of hoppiness. medium bodied, kind of chocolatey finish. a quite enjoyable brew.
