The aroma is of nut, the caramel, and the sweet coffee. It is strong and good. The flavor does not fulfill the expectations of the aroma. It is a weak flavor, with some characteristics of coffee, but weak. has before other porter better.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jado (251) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - MAY 14, 2013
From pint bottle, it pours a deep brown with some lighter red-brown highlights at the edges and a thin but persistent cappuccino coloured head. Aromas of dark fruit, coffee, roasted malt, a little chocolate and a touch of cherry. Taste is dominated by some big fruit flavours of raisins, currants, orange peel before some milk coffee and chocolate kick in. The high point is a smooth, creamy mouth feel that’s just awesome. Really nice English porter.

Pours black with a nice brown foam. Leaves nice lacing as I drink. Good aroma full of roasted malts and some oats. Malty taste with a slight bitterness at the end. Nice full mouthfeel. Finishes clean. Very nice representation of a porter!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 EtTuCthulhu (396) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - APR 20, 2013
The aroma is vanilla and roasted malts, and the appearance is very dark brown with a medium tan head that leaves a ring around the beer. The taste is slightly umami, slightly sweet, and a touch bitter, and the palate combines a full body, almost creamy texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish with perhaps a phantom of the body lingering for a little bit.
