Now this is an English Porter. A beautiful dark brown ale - not opaque, if you look at it correctly - with a lasting head and a bouquet of roasted malt, chocolate, and (slightly) coffee, this brew goes down quite easily, although you will be tasting it for minutes afterwards: Malt predominates, with some roasted barley and chocolate following, as well as a little cherry ester and some late-arriving nuttiness. Best at around 55 degrees so that you experience all the flavors intended by the brewers.

I bought this bottle at the drink of the world in Zürich and I drank it after the job yesterday at home like a dessert. In my point of view, it is a decent porter, all the things that you could expect. The body is a powerful brown and black chocolate, thin foam, average carbonation. The taste is with notes of roasted malt, coffee, hop, decent bitterness, overall well balanced and classical.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2016 Bottiglia.
