Organic BIO Beer. Piwo ladne jaskrawo pomarańczowe, pachnie bananami i gruszkami. Piana slaba średnio trwala, ale mętne za to choć nie błotniste. W aromacie i smaku jest dobrze, nawet bardzo. Udalo się Brytyjczykom zblizyc do dobrych piw bawarskich w tym stylu. Smaczne i zarazem lekkie. Bardzo przyjemne i swieze. Spora zasluga pewnie ekologicznych skladmikow.

Bottle 55cl. @local organic grocery shop. Poured into a weizen glass. Hazy medium golden to pale amber, good two finger frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing; aroma wheat, yeast, banana, bubblegum, light citrus; taste medium sweet, bitter and sourish hints, wheaty, fruity, yeasty, with long duration leading to a mild sweet fruity finish, light spicy notes; medium body, watery to creamy texture, average carbonation; delicate and tasty non-German weizen.

*Old rating. Very nice banana-fruity Weizen. Lots of yeast, round and fresh banana. Smooth and intense. A great non-German Weizen. Fascinating! The aftertaste is long yeasty-fruity, fresh and smooth. Nice stuff!

Pint at the olde Cheshire Cheese. Pours cloudy gold. Perhaps just a little too much banana for me, but it’s refreshing enough cold, as one pint, but doesn’t bear repeating.

From the bottle back at the hotel paired with a Punjabi sabji pitta, 12/12/15. Guessing it looks like a hefeweizen. It stinks of one with evocative banana and clove esters fresh out of Bavaria. Sweet and spicy and the perfect antidote to a mouthful of chilli powder with refreshing green herb, banana and clove notes. Loses its fizz fast just like the real thing and acquires a slight carbolic note. Quenching, interesting and hugely better than expected. Plus it’s £2:79 from the cornershop. CASHBACK.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy golden yellow pour with a creamy white head, aroma has clove and citrus, taste has banana, clove everything you’d expect from a wheat other words wood be an embellishment.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2015 On tap at the Top 1 Forever restaurant, Royal Victoria Dock, as Samuel Smith’s Organic Wheat Beer. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma and flavour have distinct notes of butterscotch / diacetyl - not in a bad way, really, but the standard hefeweizen notes of banana and cloves are nearly hidden behind the diacetyl.

500ml bottle. A full flavoured wheat beer with typical aromas of the style. One of the best I have tried flavour wise, could have done with a little more carbonation though.

Amber to orange colored, cloudy, small white non lasting head. Aroma is of wheat, banana bread, cloves, some yeast. Taste is medium sweet banana bread, less cloves, wheat, bit yeasty dough, some citric notes. Medium- bodied, average carbonation. Good stuff! (on tap, Earl of Lonsdale, London)
