1/2 pint on tap @ The Falcon. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts, wheat and banana. Flavor is pretty similar with some yeast too. Pretty decent.

Keg at the Cock Tavern W1. Yellowish colour, looks quite fizzy, not much of a head (although served in an English pint glass). Quite sweet and fruity for a weizen, no yeast so missing some of the spicy complexity of my favourites, but lots of apple and a bit of banana. Quenching and enjoyable.

Full wheat aroma and lots of taste too. Has a clean texture and easy to sup.

HogTownHarry (5632) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2012
Draught at The Princess Louise. Hazy gold with a two finger lasting creamy flecked white head. Classic wit - pear, banana, spice (clove) and gluten. Taste has more apple, less alcohol, initially a bit metallic, then just fruit and light generic spice, fairly sweet. Average body, a little syrupy, quite airy and quick finishing. Refreshing, if a bit simple and overly sweet.

Pint at the Cramond Inn. Hazy yellow with a white head. Flavour banana, clove etc. Not in the same league as a German hefe but a good beer nonetheless.

Draft at Duke of Argyll, Soho, London. Slightly cloudy yellow pour. Typical banana & clove, falls just a tad short of a quality hefe. Flavor a tad light

On tap @ Sinclairs Oyster Bar, Manchester. Nice enough attempt at a wheat beer, bit more citrusy than most, both in taste and aroma. Quite pale appearance, more Erdinger like than Schneider. Pleasant but lacks the depth that makes some wheat beers really stand out from the crowd.

On-Tap:
An average smelling hefeweizen, not particularly exciting but not bad either. There is some coriander and a very mild banana aroma along with some citrus. There is some wheat and a sort of floral hop aroma with a touch of spice too.
Light yellow and quite cloudy in appearance with a thumb sized bubbly white head that stays for a good while at the top.
Mainly banana from the taste along with some clove and spice. Again basic but pleasant and drinkable, there is also a touch of bubblegum and coriander.
Quite sweet and almost fruity on the palate with strong carbonation and a fizzy tang to it. It was well-balanced although slightly too fizzy for me.

Not a bad beer and a bit of a rarity it seems so a nice beer to try and to cross off my seemingly endless list of hefeweizens to try.

On tap at Duke of Argyll (London, UK). Hazy blond body with an average white foamy/creamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with some citrusy hints. Taste carries light flowery, herbal, and yeasty notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Average Hefeweizen.
