Aromas of spice (cinnamon ?), honey, light fruit (apples ?) and just a hint of caramel from the malt. Flavor is decidedly sweet… caramel/apple malt sweetness and fruitiness is nice, and there is a touch of spice to keep it interesting, but finish is kind of flat as it fades into an apple juice concentrate finale.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of doughy/cookie malt, light fruits. Flavor has some tartness to go along with malty sweetness, the light fruits (apple, pear, slight citrus), and finishes on its strongest bitter note. Pretty basic, but filtered, pasteurised, seaweed and all, I found it quite tasty. LilBeerDoctor (1489), East Setauket, New York, USA
