| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Bottled, 550ml, pasteurised. Clear Amber with white head. Highish CO2 levels giving a cardboardy taste along with the boiled veg notes from the body, this was very disappointing unfortunately. Sweetish with some fruitiness but very short in the finish. Tastes if its more for export than for the home market, which is a shame. bembelembe (150), Zagreb, Croatia
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Great beer. Very complex taste. Full of spices. Smooth malt, bit roasted and sweet. Nutty aroma, with subtle feel of hops. Alcohol is quite detectable. Dark orange colour with medium head. Mid-low carbonated. tnkw01 (175), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

I was not much on English Beer but I’m starting to come around. Nice reddish gold color. Good aroma and nice taste. Recommend it. DandyWolfFloyd (331), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Crack! It’s a 2 run triple. Man this is fine stuff. I initially smelled a lot of barley, hops, and some fruit or spice. It’s a nice orange-red color. It’s flavor is fruity, malty, and alchohol. It’s carbonated, but not gassy. It’s good. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Efferevescent, rocky white, thin two-finger head that settles onto a clear, orange brown body--tracing present throughout drinking...sharp malty scents with fruity citrus esthers reminiscent of an IPA, but the hops are well-balanced here...smooth entry with a bit of texture and a bubbly end... otherwise, casual in its presence... malt initially impresses...mellows quckly with a minimal bite of hop...alcohol is subtle--pleasant but not harrassing... maltier and fruitier than I expected--and this is a good thing! A beautiful overall effect in the sense and a fitting compliment to a snowbound evening.... changeup45 (788), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Updated: Jul 30, 2008Packaged in their traditional pint sized, aluminum foil wrapped bottle, looking like a gourmet malt liquor. Pours a brownish copper color, nice head and a pretty good amount of lacing left on the glass. Smooth malt aroma, while the flavor is a spicy malt at first then you get a great hoppy bite. Very well balanced and smooth. I haven’t yet tried a Samuel Smith’s I wouldn’t have again, and this is no different. truebluehes (104), Tipton, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Bottle. Light orange amber pour, with small lacy head. Aroma is fairly sweet and malty, but not overpowering by any means. Flavor is of lightly roasted malt with a little bit of nuts. Maybe a faint hint of wood.
