| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2006 Bottle. Not what I was expecting or, for that matter, wanting. Upon crakcing the cap I was struck with an odor of skunk. Unfortunately, with this brew you have to really work on defining the characteristics becasue the skunk overpowers the good characteristics. Pass. Sammy bombs again. TheJester (705), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2006 550 mL bottle. Chestnut brown with medium head, which doesn’t last. Most prominent aroma is that of brown sugar, with an underlying touch of green apple. Taste is dominated by the brown sugar sweetness as well, but hops do make themselves known in the finish. Thick, gritty mouthfeel. Lightly carbonated. Too sweet for regular consumption, but nice for an evening sip. ux04 (30), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA
