Pours amber witih a mostly receding tan head. Taste is sweet maltiness, toffee, and fruity floral English hops. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with resinous body and lively carbonation.

Worst beer ive had from Samuel Smith. Amber colour with small head. Taste was malty/ piney and a bit syruppy. Not bad, but was expecting more.

Expected more form a Sam Smith. Poured from bottle, amber color not much head. Taste is unique... earthy/piney, but decent. Had a light crisp mouthfeel.

Amber color with just a little head which fades pretty quickly. Taste is a little sweet and malty with a bit of spice in the mix. Overall, fairly decent and definitely drinkable but nothing outstanding. Would drink again, but I wouldn’t go looking for it.

This beer pours a golden amber color with little to no head. very spicy smell and great taste! Just like it say’s it warms you up on the inside! The flavor takes me back to the time of "a christmas carol" I feel like I am sitting beside a candlelight reading a book on christmas eve back in the 1700’s! Not avery complex beer but a good beer nonetheless. Cheers!

Vintage 2006:Poured a clear dark orange-amber color with a medium off-white head. The malty aroma was sweet and fruity. Notes of pears and some wintery spice was picked up. The flavor was of sweet and toasty malt with a fruity middle and spicey (not heat spice) finish. Medium bodied.
