Bottle pours a clear light amber with a small white head leaving a soapy ring of lacing. Sweet light malty aroma, honey and plastic. Flavor is light malts with some raw honey sweetness. Some hop bitterness but somewhat subdued. Slight bitter trailer. LIght clean palate. Thanks to piknzambia for sharing this little gem

Bottle: Clear copper color with an off white head. The aroma is burnt caramel mixed with skunk essence. Sweet flavors of Werther’s Original’s and butter. The aftertaste is sweet at first, but then it leaves a dry aftertaste with a tad bit of bitterness. Not my favorite, but ok.

From a 2001-2002 bottle on 12/27/2007. Clear honey amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel and fruitiness with a bit of alcohol. Very sweet caramel flavor. Medium full body with relatively low carbonation. On 11/16/2006: Clear golden amber body with a medium frothy tan head. Sweet malty and caramel aroma. Sweet caramel and floral hops flavor. 7/3/7/4/14

550ml Bottle. (2006-07) What’s with all the fizz! Am I drinking a Dr. Pepper? Orange-red in color. Light aroma. Lots of malt. Slight bitterness in the light bodied finish. Not impressed, no wonder it’s been so long since the last time I had one of these.

Brown bottle. Clear amber to orange color. I got almost no aroma. Medium sweetness, very liitle hops. Pleasant, but seemed a little watery.

New bottle. Pours amber with a faint white head. Aroma and taste are a bit subdued. Nothing really special here. Just a typical pub ale with a different label.

Bottle - 2006.... Pours a copper red with almost no head... This might as well be labled PLAIN ENGLISH PUB ALE... Taste is tinny and hoppy.. no winter spice or body at all... this is extremly dissapointing.. ive been looking forward to trying this.. not a seasonal IMO... 10/20
