Clear golden with off-white head. Not much aroma. Some pale malt, some alcohol, not great. Flavors are also bland, with a sweet grain finish and a nice hop but this is very disappointing.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of sweet malt. Amber, head tries to persist, but is barely there after a minute or 2. Honey-like sweetness of the malt dominates the hops. Very drinkable. Clean feel. Not sure what this beer has to do with winter, but quite good stuff..

Sample from BevMo! Mission Valley beer tasting. Decent British Winter Warmer. Sweet malt taste. Light amber brown red color. Sweet caramel malt nose. Minimal bitterness. Nice Winter session beer.

Bottle. Pours nice garnet amber with medium cream colored head, ok retention. Smells of spice and sweet malt, a little piney hop. Hits with a decent hop flavor, not nearly as much caramel as I was expecting, mildly bitter finish. Medium body, soft on the palate. A decent and drinkable beer but not much to write home about.

2008 variety. Poured orange-amber with a big, creamy head. Mild aroma of malt. Light and smooth on the tongue. Light flavor as well- mild hop note with a touch of spice that lingers on the tongue. Pleasant, but could have stronger taste characteristics.

Bottle. Fothy, off-white head, quickly diminishing, above a clear, amble body. Malty aroma of toast, brown sugar, caramel with hiints of fruit, specifically peach, and flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Some spice in the taste. A slight tartness emerges in the aftertaste. Medium body with a watery texture turning slightly sticky and a lively carbonation.

smells yeasty, but a little sour and off putting. The appearance is fine, copper/orange, nothing spectacular. tastes sweet (a little like honey), but the flavor is a little muddy. Starts well then... disappears? finish is noticeably hoppy, but it disappears quickly as well. Pretty tasty, but could use a little more oomph.
