I am completely surprised at the rating for this beer. This is one of my favorite beers of all time. It makes November worth looking forward to for me. My only complaint about this beer is that it comes in a clear glass bottle.

Appearance: pours with a medium beige head, the beer is very clear, a nice amber color with maroon hues Aroma: cherry, bread, a bit faint Taste: very subtly sweet, perhaps some buttery flavor, not very bitter Palate: lively carbonation, light mouthfeel, sweet aftertaste Overall: not very complex, I pick up sweetness on the taste and aroma the most on this beer, I'm saying it's grape but could be cherry or some other sweet fruit, not so sweet it's not drinkable though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Soft musky malt aroma. Pretty light copper color with a minimal head. Smooth with medium weight. Caramel, biscuit, malty with a little boozy bite.

Bottle. A: Dark amber color with an off-white head. N: Caramel, toffee, cracker, minerality, honey, peppercorn, some corn and plenty of earthiness. T: Sweet and very lightly bitter M: Light body, soft, creamy carbonation, no alcohol. O: A sweet beer with some nice complexity given how light it is. Could drink a few of these during the holiday season.

Pours bright amber with a creamy thin head. Aroma of caramel and malts. Taste is a bit plain, very British sweet malts with a dry finish. Ok ale.

Bottle from BevMo! in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is vanilla and herbed soupy something. Some kind of spiced fruit chicken pot pie. Is it a savory meal? Is it a dessert? Interesting, but a bit of a sloppy mess.

Poured into pint glass a nice Amber with a just off white head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Taste is malt heavy with some hops coming through in the finish. Not much linger to it. A bit thin for a winter beer.

Has a sweet light smell, almost smells a little like vanilla. Comes out a dark amber color with a creamy colored foamy head. Doesn’t taste like it smells, has a strong hop taste to it and leave a very dry and nasty aftertaste.

Sturdy but refreshing. Heavily malty body with a whole lot of fruits and a pleasant bitter finish. Quality winter brew.

Ambar entre anaranjada y marrón. Clara aunque ligeramente brumosa. 1 dedo de espuma ligeramente ocre. Fuerte aroma a azucar tostada y malta. Excelente cuerpo y textura. Y gran sabor. Buen equilibrio entre dulce caramelo y amargo final. Ligero calorcito, mayor que en cervezas de más graduación. Para saborear lentamente, trago a trago. Excelente.
