Nekronos (1893), Xalapa, Mexico Mar 20, 2008 Veyr nice one, it was a little bitter, but Samuel Smith’s is alwas a good brand. It has some orange peel aftertaste and some coffee small features. NIce foam and nice roasted barley taste.
Fyrdraca (9), Macon, Georgia, USA does not count Aug 6, 2008 This was a tasty beer. It’s color, taste, and aroma were of a nicely understated caramel. It’s not a particularly good-looking beer, but the hops were well presented and didn’t have an off-putting bite. There was a little citrus, which was a nice complement. Linus_Stick (1521), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 3, 2008 Blah. Typical English strong ale. Aroma was decent. Mostly hops and butterscotch (?). Pour was a decent medium thick gold with placid bubbles and no head. Taste was mostly stale caramel, lemon and dusty hops. Little to no carbonation. Not a drainpour, but not very enjoyable overall. jkwalking05 (171), Arlington, Texas, USA Jul 26, 2008 Appearance is copper in color with an average sized white head. Aroma is of caramel and nuts. Flavor is of toffee caramel, and a slight alcohol warmth. Hank1980 (347), Athens, Georgia, USA Jul 10, 2008 Pours clear copper with a white head, looks like an IPA. Aroma of caramel, yeast, citrus. Taste is more malt and caramel, with some light hops. Body is medium with decent carbonation. Overall, a decent ale. ucusty (1016), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 8, 2008 Clear copper pour thick white head. Biscuity nose. Slightly salty flavor with caramel, toffee, and some hops
