I picked this up since the store was having a closeout sale with bottles at $.99 a piece. To me this seems close to an amber ale. Low to moderate hops, caramel, average carbonation. Not something Iíd go out of my way to pick up, but around a dollar I guess it isnít so bad.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2015 Bottle from Epsom Cirlce Market, Epsom, NH. Aroma is yeasty, malty with a bit of chocolate and fruit. Appearance is clear orange/light brown with good bubbles and a two-finger off white creamy looking head with good retention and fair lacing. Taste is good balance of sweet and bitter, not as complex as the aroma. Palate is medium bodied with creamy texture, soft carbonation, and minimally bitter moderately long finish. Overall, an enjoyable beer that is on the lighter side for a winter brew and is not so filling.

The beer pours a very clear copper color with a large white head, and the aroma blends earthy and floral hops, orange zest, and caramel malts. The taste is mildly bitter, slightly sour, and a touch sweet with an aftertaste that is reminiscent of earthy hops and a subtle fruitiness. The palate fuses a slick texture, soft carbonation with a bite, and a medium-light body.

Pour out of bottle, slightly hazy orange-red pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon into some dark fruits, touch of slight white fruit in there as well. Taste was a mix of white fruit, orange, dark fruits into a bit of cinnamon, hints of toffee and caramel, finishing sweet.

Pours orange-amber with thin off-white head that leaves only minor skim. Nose has a bit of malt sweetness with grassy/herbal notes. Taste adds toast, stone and nuts, perhaps a suggestion of dried fruit. Sometimes beer reviews seem to grope for adjectives, seeking hints of flavor that may be imaginary. Really, thereís not much complexity here. This isnít a bad drink by any means, but it doesnít say winter or fireplace or anything in particular.

Klarowne, bursztynowe z kremową pianą. Aromaty słodowe, karmelowe, lekko owocowe. W smaku karmel, delikatna suszona śliwka. Piwo trochę kwaśne z lekką goryczką.

Bottle pour. Clear dark golden with an off white creamy head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is sweet caramel and bread. Thick full body. Light bitter, light salty, and a medium sweet taste.

Light amber pour, fairly quick head. Nose is malt and Yorkshire yeast. Bittersweet. Middle is solid malt backbone, apricots, and more signature yest from the "squares" flavor. Finish is warm and malty. Held on to this one a little bit, and it was pretty good.
