Cask at the Cittie of York, London. Pours a clear, effervescent golden-brown with a foamy, off-white head. Weak toasty malt aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with some faint caramel, toast, and very mild, leafy bitterness. Light in body with fine, tingly carbonation. Light sweet finish, some toasty and doughy malts, light fruits making an appearance. A very basic beer overall. Nothing really wrong, but itís just pretty damn bland.

Tap. Dark brown color with a modest off-white head. Bready malts on the nose. The taste is dry, biscuity, fresh and watery. The mouthfeelís light and creamy, soft carbonation. Another one of Sam Smithís easy-drinking, good but nothing special bitters.

At duke of argyll, soho. Copper pour, lighter caramel malt aroma, smells like a mash. Light bitterness, watery flavor. Ok

Cask in the City of york, Holborn. Alround rating: Starts thin and a bit fucked really, but then moves onto a far more malty and complex beast, as it warms tabasco and brett start to come through and by the end its reminisant of harveys pale ale. Good show for the %.

On tap at Duke of Argyll (London, UK). Limpid amber body with a nice off-white creamy head. Malty/hoppy aroma with nutty hints. Taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries subtle woody and grainy notes. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Easy-to-drink Bitter.

Pint in The White Horse, Soho. Pours red/copper. Very clear, minimal head. At first nose and flavour is really subtle, but after a few sips thereís caramel malt and fruitiness coming through. Bit of tropical fruit on the nose. Very very light bodied though.

Poured a clear copper with a medium, lasting creamy white head. Fairly dull aroma profile, slightly malty, slightly dusty with some mild fruitiness too. Again, slightly dusty on the tongue, hints of caramel and mid fruits with a delicate finishing toasty bitterness. Soft, light to medium body & a short finish. Overall itís drinkable but relatively tasteless & a non-event.
