The nose is dark roasted, moderately sweet, and lightly alcoholic, but agin, the very powerful bourbon aroma leads the way; Very smooth, rich and creamy on the palate, but a bit thin for an oatmeal stout; Black in color, dark brown at the very edges; Pours with absolutely no head, but as you watch Beltran smack a homer in the NLDS and trot around the bases, then look back at the beer, magically, a small but creamy, tan head has formed; It maintains a thin layer, leaving a dense but very thin and delicate lace
