Sep 12, 2008 On at at SDBC. Poured a nice, nitro looking pour; dark brown, with a really creamy head that held form. Aroma of cocoa and roasted malt, with maybe the faintest hint of coffee. Flavor was initially fantastic, although it got a little worse throughout. Still it is definitely quality. Cocoa, roasted malt, coffee with some chalkiness near the finish. Full bodied with a nice palate. Very good for the style.

Jul 11, 2008 On tap @ the Liars’ Club - Pours a dark brown color with a small, but long lasting, light tan head. Decent lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and light chocolate. Had a very nice mocha chocolate flavor. Very smooth and creamy. This is a very nice beer.

Jun 15, 2008 Nitro tap at brewery. Pours dark brown with a big, creamy, light brown head, sheet lace. Smells subdued malty. Tastes awesome, chocolatey, dark malty, but the sweet chocolate flavors linger very nicely. Solid medium body, smooth as silk carbonation. Best chocolate beer that I’ve ever had

May 14, 2008 Hazy dark brown. Coffee bean and spoiled milk, crap vanilla. Like a gas station coffee drink. Palate is all about chocolate syrup grossness. I don’t like Nestle Quick. Thin body. Fades into cloying nothingness. A bad idea, executed poorly.
