Draft at SDBC. Typical hazy orange color. First one was served with a lemon. I quickly solved that little problem. Head dissapated quickly, but the residual ring left nice lacing for more than half the glass. Aromas of bananas and yeast. The flavor lost the banana, but the yeast was still pretty evident. Lemon in the finish. Nice fresh beer.

On-tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow orange with a medium sized, crisp white head, good lace. Smells yeasty and spicy, clove, with a hint of wheat/grain. Tastes about the same. Yeasty with light clove spiciness and some cereal malts and wheat. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.

draft at the brewpub - Pours lightly hazy yellow with a thin white head. It has a citrus aroma, a sweet wheat malt and mild citrus taste, and a lively, light palate. I think it’s a pretty good hefeweizen.

A slightly hazed yellow gold pour with a lite creamy off white head. A bannana nose with hints of clove. Bannan is there along with a bit more flavors than the nose has on it. A fine finishing flavor with no off bitters. Carbonation is good and mouthfeel is surprisingly solid as well. Very good hefe very clean flavor and finish.

(11/5/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in San Diego. Cloudy yellow color. Aroma of banana, some phenolic notes, yeast and some spiciness. Sweet wheaty flavor with fruity esters and a bit of sourness. Medium-bodied. Refreshing.
