Nothing of a bitter as I was told the ESB stood for early spring beer.
Pours copper, thin white head,.
Aroma is malty, with some dry New Zealand hops, for a light floral nose, some yeast is used as well. Brewmaster told me the yeast was from Palm in Belgium.
Taste, malty, sweet, some coffee notes, caramel, floral hops, pale malts, dry hopped, hops are just fresh and very enjoyable with light grassy bitter finish. badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Apr 10, 2009 On tap at brewery. Copper brown with a creamy off white head. Malty and molasses aroma with a sweet chocolate and caramel taste with a grain finish.
