Straw colour but kind of flat-looking. Grassy nose with vague esters. Hint of bubblegum, not much else. Watery finish. Bland.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a lightly hazed golden honey color with a thin and creamy off-white head that burns away slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and light yeast. Light-bodied with a bland concoction of hops, yeast and spice/fruit flavors. The finish is short and wheaty, leaving behind a light spice aftertaste. Overall this one was decent but just did not connect with me.

On draft at San Diego Brewing Company. Not great. Kind of empty headed... like a trophy wife. Not much taste and a yeasty aftertaste.

Draft at the brewery. Golden blonde color with decent white head. Aromas of spice and citrus. Flavor was similar. Very smooth mouthfeel with some bright fruits and some pepper and spice. Pretty good.

On tap at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Pours a cloudy golden hue with a very banana, clove and somewhat spicy nose. The mouthfeel is medium with rich malts balanced perfectly with just enough hops. The finish is smooth and lingers brilliantly, I was very impressed by this lighter style Belgian ale and will make sure to have this one again~
