Apr 9, 2008 On tap at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Pours a deep amber color with a nice toasty nose. Taste is a little like a hefe with a bit of clove and touches of spicyness. There is a nice sweetness throughout with a clean crisp finish. An excellent bock, perfect for the upcoming summer season!

Apr 5, 2008 On tap at brewery. Clear copper brown with a fizzy white head. Grainy sweet and roasty aroma. Sweet caramel and toffee taste.

Mar 21, 2008 Tap @ SDBC. Dark ruby in color. Aroma is spicy clove and yeasty. Fairly sweet. Spicy and somewhat dry finish.

Mar 14, 2008 Dark copper reddish color with a decent head. Aromas were some banana and some wheat twang. Flavor was similar with a bit of spice and more wheat twang. Not too bad.
