The Gripman’s Porter’s roasted barley malts create a full bodied, sensational flavor of dark chocolate and roasted grain. A hoppy taste supports the rich, creamy roasted malt character without overpowering it.

Black body with no head. Smells of chocolate, cardboard and newspapers. Thin body. Taste is alcohol, chocolate malts. Nothing impressive here.

A nice dark brown color with a tan head. A mixture of caramel and chocolate in the taste and very smooth. This brewpub has a very good line of beers and worth stopping in if in San Francisco.

Excellent hop aroma with Cascadian pine and some floral notes. Very well-balanced and a charactered medium body with an elaborate finish.
