CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA Aug 15, 2006 Had the sample of this. Golden color. Very hoppy and tangy on the end. Not much of an IPA person, but not bad
Bobsy (196), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 2, 2008 Sampler at the brewpub. Copper coloured with a small white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Grapefruit and caramel make for a nice combination. This is a good, refreshing and well-balanced brew. bhensonb (2832), Woodland, California, USA Nov 11, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Very nice floral hop aroma. Beautiful amber color with a nice white head that laced a little. Thinnish body with moderate carbonation. Flavor of citrus hop lightly backed by caramel malt. It’s a hoppy little thing. That’s the finish too. Dry and hoppy. Really good ale. hotstuff (3038), Indiana, USA Oct 14, 2007 Draft at SFBC. Off-white head that was mostly lasting, little to no lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a golden hue. The nose was floral and that was all I could get in this area, The flavor was hoppy, some grapefruit and pine and lightly bitter tasting. The mouthfeel was fairly smooth with a slight tingle to it. Light body. Again, just another so-so brew from this establishment as nothing really stands out to where I want more of it. jasonp (1440), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA Aug 26, 2007 Sampled at SFBC, June 2007. Medium copper with a white head. Light cascade/floral nose. Caramel, light pine, grapefruit and a moderate amount of APA hop bitterness. Light bodied, a bit watery with insufficient carbonation. I’d call this an American Pale Ale. Average. thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 4, 2007 This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated light yellow-orange colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops which were again missing the caramel I like in a pale ale. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.
