Mar 26, 2008 Deep, almost black, bock and rather flat in appearance. Strong dark caramel flavor of crystal malt and black molasses. Akin to an imperial schwarz.

Jan 2, 2008 Sampler at the brewpub. Rich mahogany colour with sweet bready aromas wafting upwards. The flavour contains more of the bready aspect and is accented by hints of caramel. Smooth on the palate, and nicely warming on the way down. One of the better beers tried that night.
