8/26/2007: San Juan Ale Diablo is golden amber with a hazy appearance. The beige head is well-retained even after all the beer is gone! Chili peppers with a touch of caramel pop from the aroma. This beer tastes very much like cream cheese stuffed jalepeno poppers! I’m not kidding! It is kind of dry with some caramel maltiness at first and then the peppery spice kicks in. The spiciness builds with each drink, but it is isn’t too much or overpowering. This beer has a smooth, medium-body and soft carbonation. Unlike <a href=http://ratebeer.com/Beer/cave-creek-chili-bee Creek Chili Beer , this beer is actually well-balanced and quite flavorful.

4 oz draught sample Ɠ.5% Alc By Wt) at the Front Street Ale House in Friday Harbor, Washington. Rating #1 for this beer...
