3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery in San Marcos, served in a tasting glass. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head that fades slowly to a thin remnant and leaves no lace. On the nose there is a big note of resin, along with fruit, caramel and flowers. The flavour is medium-bitter with resin, pine, flowers and a subtle candy sweetness. The finish is medium bitter with flowers and a subtle fruity sweetness. On the palate it is medium in body with a smooth milky texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a decent IPA with a nice degree of balance. 2013-03-22

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The pour is a slightly cloudy orange with a finger of white head. Opens with sweet citrus fruitiness and a decent amount of pine. Some mild herbs, a bit of bread, and mild caramel. There’s a light grass note up front to the flavor, but it’s quickly overtaken by lots of tangerine and grapefruit. Some hints of pineapple, moderate pine, and a slight caramel malt sweetness.

A clear golden/yellow colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of sweet fruits and a little hop. The taste is also from sweet fruits, like orange with notes of hop bitter. The aftertaste is mostly sweet and hints of bitter.

Candy sweetness up front. Long bitterness in the finish. This is a shitty assed IPA.
