On tap at San Marcos Brewery. Amber/brown pour with a small tan head, little retention, slight lacing. Reminds me of a cross between an American and Belgian amber ale. Malty aroma, slight grass. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, fruity and refreshing, easy to drink. Alcohol is well hidden. Goes well with food, a decent amber ale that can be consumed freely.

"This ale ended up coming across as a slightly suped up brown ale with not a lot of depth or clarity of character. Kinda dark, kinda toasty... Just an ok beer. Was hoping for better."

In taster at brewery. Looks like a dark apricot with a bit of red. Smell isn’t too much beyond the amber maltness. Tastes pretty malty and stuff. Not amazing but overall a decent beer. overall 6 of 10
