The Philippine’s first and only low-calorie beer. It has the same refreshing, full-flavored taste and alcohol content of the nation’s favorite brew, San Miguel Pale Pilsen.

Clear golden coloured body with a gross and soapy white head that fades like soda. Aroma of water, metal and metal - no beer qualities at all. Light-bodied; Sharp malt, metal, cardboard and then water. Aftertaste is almost nothing, I could drink this and not even know it. Overall, a pretty bad beer and not worth trying, unless you can do it since you know you won’t get the opportunity much! I sampled this 33 cL can purchased at 7-11 in Hong Kong, China on 18-August-2007, and drunk on the streets above Hong Kong - where I wish I could drink all of my beer...

(bottle - 12 oz) Pale yellow with some light carbonation and a thin white head. Aroma is very light with hints of corn, dry grass, and some sweetness. Flavor begins sweet and tart with a grainy and dry middle of grass, hay, and some stale hops, and a very dry and slightly sour finish. Warm weather beer for sure.

Not horribly offensive and somewhat refreshing. If you can get it cheap enough it may make a good lawn mowing brew.

12 oz single from Trader Joe’s: Pale gold color wirh a small, fading white head. Flavor starts lightly sweet with a little grainess and a soft dry bitterness in the finish. Light body is crisp with lively carbonation.

Drink it with a lime. Drink all imported beers with spanish names in clear bottles with limes. Makes me smile. A light beer with 5% alcohol. I think it is redonkulously good. Perhaps redoubledonkulously good. If you ranked all light beers on 6-pack vibes, this can’t possibly be beat. Twelve will make you sputter Tagalong slurs at your grandma.

Pours a pale straw yellow with a small, short lived, fizzy white head. Plenty of bubbles. Aroma of hay, adjuncts, a touch of skunk (clear bottle) and a bit of DMS. Taste is about the same. Bubbly and rough going down.

Golden color, virtually no flavor. They were giving them away by the hundreds at a trade show party so it was my favorite beer. Free beer.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2008 Great? No. It’s a light lager in a clear bottle. But honestly, it’s quite refreshing on a warm Philippine evening. Reminded me a bit of Corona, though better. Wouldn’t touch this stuff outside the country given the clear bottle an all.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2008 Asian beer companies have traditionally not had the need to brew a light beer. It was embarassing to order this in the Philippines. Even more embarassing was the taste.

Clear 12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden color, white fizzy head. Aroma of a sink-disposal unit in need of a nice disinfecting. Hints of cereal malt, puffed wheat. Flavor resembles the rinse water you drink from the glass you are using at a beer tasting to keep your palate cleansed. Purchased @ Total Wine, Miami.
