The Philippine’s first and only low-calorie beer. It has the same refreshing, full-flavored taste and alcohol content of the nation’s favorite brew, San Miguel Pale Pilsen.

For a light beer, it actually had some flavor but was ultimately unimpressive. A bit fruity, although the corny/adjuncty presence was detectable in the aroma and flavor. Nothing to write home about.

Gold in color, with a small foamy white head. Slight skunky aroma. Tastes watery. I guess they decided to take out some of the flavor to reduce the calories. Very thin and watery. Bland as can be. Not really offensive, so I guess it’s got that going for it. I’m glad I only bought one bottle of this.

Clear bottle. Pours yellow with a tall fizzy white head. Aroma was not skunky but was laden with a corn flake aroma. I knew I’d be in for it when the bottle cap listed "cereals" under the ingredients. I didn’t know they meant it literally! The taste is rather bland but has sweetened corn syrupy taste. Finish is even more bland. It’s actually not that bad and rather refreshing on a warm day like today. Wouldn’t recommend it though.

For whatever reason this beer reminds me of the joke about sleeping habits. You know, if you are a light sleeper and wake up with the light on what happens if you are a hard sleeper.......? In Australia a light beer is a low alcohol one. This is lite (the spelling on the can I had) beer, meaning calories controlled but with the same ABV as a full strength. Well, the body in a beer is a bit like salt in a meal, something that you may not specifically identify except when it is missing. This misses by a long shot. Some others have mentioned hints of aspects of flavour. They are rite (I mean right), only wish that San Mig could take a hint and not brew such crap.

Bottled. Pale yellow. Unclean estery viola aroma. Thin and emtpy as vacuum, leaving a metallic finish behind.

Aroma of egg, some malts and light hops. Pale golden color, white rocky head, fair lace. Very neutral, few flavors, hint of malt, watery, light body. But what else would you expect from a Light.

Very pale gold. Thick bubbles to disparate head. Herbal, grassy. Probably a bit "skunked". Faugh! Water with an extract of overyear straw. Seen what I've tasted from Phillippine 'cuisine', I would have expected as much taste as possible, to wash down those infernal cookings. But it's rather the opposite. Unbelievable thin texture, like mineral water with added taste. This is truly horrible.

Well good christ, i thought that this would be complete total shit, but it was just shit. Its bad, but the skunk must be hibernating cuase there is only a trace of the ass. Far less offensive than anticipated, not that ill ever have it again.

Had this here in China, and if I said anything other than disgusting, I’d be lying. I never thought I’d find a beer that made me want to drink regular San Miguel

this is a disgrace to the legendary san miguel varieties. it has a very watery finish which irritates me. the hops aren’t also evident. to all ignorant pinoys out there, SAN MIG LITE IS FOR JOLOGS. be a man and try San Miguel Cervesa Negra instead
