The Philippine’s first and only low-calorie beer. It has the same refreshing, full-flavored taste and alcohol content of the nation’s favorite brew, San Miguel Pale Pilsen.

Pointless low-calorie version of San Miguel. If calories become an issue for me, I’d rather drink water than this crap. This was crystal-clear watery gold with a thin scum of short-lived suds. The piercing aroma is uric and reeks of adjuncts. Stale and thoroughly unappetising. The mouthfeel is hard and spritzy. Aggressively carbonated waif-like body. You can taste the carbonation, plus some grass and sour watery lemons. There is no finish. This is actually worse than the dreadful Becks Alcohol-free beer I had on the same day. (330ml bottle from a Singapore supermarket)

Bottle. Poured pale color with a large frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Light grassy hop aroma. Light body with a smooth texture. Medium sweet flavor with a light sweet dry finish of short duration. Better than my expectations.

Bottle, with Clarkvv and Sully. Unbelievably void of flavour, extremely watery palate, with a fizzy finish. A little bit corny, this was pretty bad. Worse than the Super-Dry and the Pale Pils.

A beer so blah than San Miguel couldn’t find it in themselves to honor it with a full name. Very pale yellow and highly carbonated, it’s got a faint, faint nose of corn. The flavor is a watery sweet corn syrup. At least the finish is abrupt with no serious after effects.

Bottle consumed on 8/12/06.
Weak, goldenrod diluted in water, with a fizzy head that quickly runs to the edge. Extremely filtered clarity, no lacing, bubbles settle out of the liquid rather quickly.
Cheap pencil/crayon nose, compound flaws exhibited, with a clear lack of proper or even bare minimum lagering times. Husky, slightly sharp, rice-like finish. Extremely stale and pasteurized. No hops, no alcohol.
The flavor has a slight rancidity to it, and almost a dry, bland, papery flavor as well, with some green apple, metallic notes and spoiled cider notes on the finish. Of course, all of this is diluted down to being minimally noticeable, but it’s certainly still there. The usual case where the "lite" version of the regular beer displays fewer problems, generally due to less ingredients being used and a much higher water/everything-else-ratio, does not seem to be the case here, as this is not your typical neutral, carbonic, lightly sweet seltzer water sort of light beer. Or if this is still the case, then San Mig regular must be god-awful. Fizzy mouthfeel, watery, loose, stale, pasteurized, filtered, no hop notes, no alcohol.

This one comes off as much the same as some of the rougher american macro’s.Light golden color, small white head that had a short hang time then faded to leave nothing behind. The aroma was mild with a truck stop sort of thing going on in it.Corny with some cerealish hints that kind of reminds me of lacrosse beer,Hmmm. The flavor is much the same,Light all around with some hints of this and that and little more to really grab your palate.Over all i’d have to say the brew is thin and uneventful, but worth a go around just for the hell of it.

Total Wine, Tampa, Fl. - 12 0z bottle. Pale golden pour, soapy white head - sticks around. Aroma of hair tonic - not much else. Metallic flavor, hints of skunkiness. Some wet newspaper hints in there as well. Not very refreshing, reminds me of a cheap American low-budget lager along the lines of Schlitz.

Smells like wet clothes left too long in the machine after washing, clear straw, small white head. Mildly corn flavoured, watery, yikes. Thanks Radek.

The aroma is lightly skunked corn malt. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is corn and a light cheap bitterness. The palate is watery. This is another example of a tasteless odorless lager.
