San Miguel's most exclusive beer. Created in order to offer a higher quality product in accordance with the requirements of the German Purity Law of 1516 (using only water, malt and hops in the brewing process).

Nothing special.Pale yellow color, white head, some sourish yeast and malt in the aroma and flavor, little bit hoppier than San Miguel especial...

Bottle, 33cl. Typical of the genre, and rather unmemorable -- standard issue pour, aroma, taste and aftertaste.

I like how the fact that this beer is created as a "higher quality product", t says something about what they think of their normal product. The beer itself is decent enough standard lager, dry light drinking, cereal-flavours. Nothing special.

Typical boring standard lager in every way brewed by a giant. Thin texture, no body. Boring Zzzzzzzz.

Yellow to bronze liquid with medium white head, aroma of grassy hops some malt and some flowery notes, flavor of biscuit sweetness and liquirice notes, quite watery with bitter hoppy finish. Drinkable but nothing special.

pours identical or normal san miguel as far as i can tell, light gold with a white head that lasts a bit longer than you would expect (but not long). very bland aroma of malt. tastes a bit hoppy. that’s it.

Canned(330ml). -Courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!).
Yellow coloured, medium sized soapy white head that went away fast, remarkable watery nose. Weak malty, grainy and corn with touch of salt in the finish. Very watery even for San Miguel’s most exclusive beer...

Can courtesy of a friend who brought it from Spain (thanks Ivana!)
Poured a yellow body with a small thick white head that went away at a medium pace. A remarkably empty aroma... hard water and some dust. And the taste was just as empty as I feared after smelling it. Quite watery, light beer, some grain and dust...popcorn? hm. Almost no hop, what little there is hard to discern. A typical watery run of the mill lager that might as well be made in Hungary.

Another typical lager from Spain. Quite a bitter one, but not much complexity and almost no hops aroma nor flavour. A bit too heavy.
