2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) Fully golden, very small head. Some malt in the flavour, but primarily dry and quite hoppy. Some late sweetness. The name "1516" is a reference to the year of the German "Reinheitsgebot" hence this is an all-malt beer. 250505
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Lubiere (8243) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 3, 2005
Can. Golden lager with a thin white head. Good carbonation. Aroma of malt, grass and cardboard. Good malt cereal in mouth, tarnished by the oxidation. Very decent body for the style. Annoying little metallic bitterness. Bought in Peguera, Spain.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - OCT 16, 2004
Gold color and a low head. Light cara malt taste with a dainty bittering hop. Medium body and a quick profile. Refreshing and OK for a Spainish beer. Maybe we were away from good beer too long and this appeared better to us at the time...
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 YogiBeera (2435) - Hamburg, GERMANY - OCT 2, 2004
Boys - you can hang me - I don*t find it thaaat bad! Weak nose, yes, but hoppy. Dark golden color, spare head, lively carbonation. Thin all in all but ok. Hoppy taste, with some malty warm character.

Light grainy aroma. Pale yellow color, white head, few lace. Light sweet start, bit grainy, nasty bitterness that lasts forever, very watery.

A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty and the flavor is sweet with light notes of alcohol and malt.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 rauchbier (3394) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2004
Bottle, DBF 2004. Gold, no head and low condition. Peardrops in the nose and mouth, some malty sweetness developing and a nasty chalky bitterness in the finish. If 1516 is being used here to suggest a Reinheitsgebot brewed beer then San Miguel should hang their heads in shame.
