Bottle. End of date, so not the freshest. Yellow beer, white fluffy lager-head. Nose is corn, but there’s also a confection marzipan air in there. I’m also getting a very sweet confection/false taste in the mouth too. There’s more corn and syrupy tastes and a slight resinous hop. Bland, sweet, blerg.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can, from Morrisons. Gold, thin shortlived white head and good condition. Gentle bitter hop nose with a touch of fruity malt, low fruity grain in the mouth with a hint of peppery hops that becomes quite dry and bitter in the finish

Man, I have been drinking some terrible beers recently. This was one of the worst. Very nearly a drain-pour, but I soldiered on. Let this be a lesson to us all.

Bottle. Tastes like a malty premium lager. Not really my cup of tea. Or beer. Tastes a bit rubbish. Drinkable though.

Bottle at Villandry, Bicester Village. Salty dry pale lager which refreshes well enough. Very average.

660ml bottle. Pours pale amber with a frothy head. Aroma of soap and subtle grains. Generic euro lager flavour. Very slightly sweet, not much else. Indistinguishable from most other commercial European lagers.

Can onboard a Cathay Pacific Boring 747 on our way from London to Hong Kong. And again on our way back from Cambodia. Clear yellow - white head. Lime cest, straw, hay, light wet hay, lime, citrus, corn, sweetness, light fruity. Boring.

Nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. Sweet biscuity malts sort of thing. Meh, drinkable as they come

bottle@friend’s house: corn syrup, malt, inoffensive bitterness at the end, middling macro, mainly interesting due to origin, an advantage which it quickly looses given how widespread this one is (Original Rating: 19/03/2011 – one of my earliest ratings, moved it here now that the original entry is getting sorted out & cleaned up – had a 33 cl. bottle in the UK – so my rating should be here) Cheers,
