1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
My daughter takes great delight in finding crap beers she knows I’ll never have had before: take a bow daughter!
Clear 330ml bottle poured into a ’La Chouffe’ stemmed tulip @ home on 16 Nov 2012 during one of my random tasting evenings.
Looked a typical lager/pilsner: bright, golden and clear, with the usual white head of fading bubbles.
Smells like a lime and lemonade soft drink, taste is simular but with hints of hops and traces of mild malts. Not something for beer geeks, but it might quench a young twerps thirst on a warm sunny day.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Fresh foamy light golden lager from Spanish San Miguel. It is sold in clear bottles and associate strongly to the slightly boring Mexican lagers Sol and Corona. The aroma is grass and a little hop. The flavor is as expected ’very Mexican’ i.e. a little thin malty flavor and almost no hop bitterness. Mouthwatering and easily drinkable. Good thirst quenching properties, but certainly not a lager beer which gives the desire to open another bottle. Many of the pilsner beer is served with a thin slice of lime, and it would certainly have lifted this beer a part. Very anonymous lager.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2015 330ml Nice non generic lime texture - not as Fly as Corona, but still a top end Spanish piss beer.

May I say it once again? This lager is like having sex in a canoe- f***ing close to water. Bad, bad, bad.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
One of the worst beers i have had in a long time that didn’t have defects. Just awful, flavorless and not even refreshing what I was hoping for in this weather.
Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis

Dorada muy clara y limpia. Aspecto de cava. Escasa espuma. Aroma cereal. Igual que el sabor. Como una coronita pero sin limón. Floja

Eigentlich recht trinkbar. Getreidig und hopfig in der Nase, etwas Tabak, mild im Antrunk und Abgang. Vollkommen ok, wenn auch duenn wie Spuelwasser.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from local supermarket on Mallorca, Spain. The beer has got a clear light golden colour with no real head and thin body. Aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of thin hops, citrus, malts and bread. Watery-thin and citric finish. Refreshing, yet nothing more.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bbjun2015, merci jaghana. Remarkably clean and refreshing bland pale lager, with little of those cardboard notes and an actual intimation of fresh citrus zest even without adding the recommended slice. Obviously demands chilling, remaining an aquateous quencher, but manages to bypass all those sulphury notes you get in Beck’s et al. lighter renditions.

33 cl. flaske. 4,4 %. Frisk sommer-øl skal serveres med en skive lime, det fik jeg nu ikke gjort. Men prøver næste gang.
