Poured from bottle. Nose is mostly beery, but there are some faint citrus and resin notes. Pours a clear yellow with a surprisingly robust head. While the taste is mostly typical fizzy yellow stuff, there is some decent hops bitterness on the close. Palate is forgettable. For a session beer, it would be bearable; on a hot day, it would be acceptable, or even welcome.

Bottle 33 cl. Thanks to AZLondon for this one! Golden, clear with a small white head. Aroma; Malty with some sence of straw. Taste; Very mild sweet malty. Nothing spes. but fun to have tried a Philippines beer.

Hopper (827) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - APR 14, 2010
A pale golden beer with a huge slowly dissipating head. Interesting one of the first beers I’ve had that has no aroma at all. The taste was like milled grain.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Pale yellowish golden colour with mediumsized bubbly white head, that disappears quite quickly. Aroma is cooked vegetables, maizelike sweetness as well as some slight grains and mild metallic notes. Flavour is maizelike sweetness, some earth, mild cooked vegetables and grains. Not the worst of lagers...

15/03 A 0.32 l bottle brought home from Asian store in Mitte, Berlin. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Some hay and corn, so typical pale lager aroma. Sweetish corny flavor, very simple and watery with short finish that showed up some herbal bitterness, not really the best one. Nothing too bad here, but dull and easily forgettable. At least new country for me!

It’s golden with a white head. The aroma is weak with light notes of malt and fruit. The flavour is mild/thin with light notes of malt, fruit and citrus and the finish is slightly spicy.

[Bottle] Clear yellow pour with a foamy white head. Sweet and grainy aroma. Some wet hay and grass character in there. Sweet grainy and honey flavor with some metal in the aftertaste. Light hints of bitterness in the finish. It could have been worse, I guess.

Bottled. Poured clear straw golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up a very strong hit of sweetened-up honey and corn with even more sweetness around.. a little bit of garbage backing as it warmed up.. never smelled anything like it, and I’d rather not again. The flavor (yeah, I drank it) took a few seconds to get going, but the same huge, sweet, nasty mash of corn and honey amped up by carbonation eventually showed at the middle.. not much bitterness to note.. some vanilla and stale pale malts joined, especially with warmth.. finished with some tartness along with the nasty, over-bearing sweetness. Light-bodied and tacky on the palate.. it seemed like all the ugly stuff stuck where it shouldn’t, while any small hint of redeeming character slid right by.

Drake (8030) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - FEB 24, 2010
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine, Richmond, VA. I’m thankful this is in a brown bottle. Pours a very clear very pale yellow color. Large frothy head sticks around a while but has poor lacing. Aroma of sweet malts with a nutty, faintly grassy finish. Taste is cloyingly sweet artificial seeming malts, honey and a faint grassy finish. Thin-medium bodied. I could probably choke this down but it would be such an unenjoyable experience that down the drain it goes.

can, courtesy of Tony @ OTH. pours golden, white head. aroma mostly pale malts, some wheat and sweetness. flavor, wheat and plenty of pale malts, light bitter hops. Where the whole beer falls short is in the clear indication of starch added to the mix. A quick way to ruin everything with chemically altered corn.
