Hong Kong version, sold in Estonia. Comes in a strange old-style can. Pale golden, scummy head. Grainy aroma. Light and dry. Some grain sourness in the aftertaste. Nothing special.

Poured into a lager glass from the bottle. Light yellow with dissipating head. Tastes of corn and cereals, like a typical cheap beer. I don’t think this is really a pilsner

Wow. I was very pleasantly surprised by this. A light light flavor, but a good crispness. Tasty.

Actually tastes a lttle bit better than I thought. Still isn’t worth getting if a mecrobrew is available, but drinkable if the occasion requires.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Hazy yellow with a massive head that fizzled out. Arome of corn, barley, slight bit of hoppiness. Tastes far better than it smells/looks, but still nothing to write home about. Bit of green apple, wheat and hops in the taste, but that quickly gets overpowered by corn but to be fair I was expecting far worse based on the smell. Goes down like water and probably has the same appeal to craft beer drinkers as water does. The Philippines: Great food, friendly people, lousy beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can at 5% brought back from the Philippines by a coworker for me to try. Pours a golden transparent body with a white head, no lacing and poor retention. Aromatically pear juice, light apple skins, grains, cereal, and some earth notes. Soft pear body, light grass tones, soft and clean nice hop character, a bit rice like and some light apple tones. Actually i think this is fantastic for a pale lager. I’m digging it!

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
San Miguel has a very thick, frothy, white head and a clear, yellow appearance, with a good amount of sticky lacing down the glass. The aroma is overwhelmingly of bread (white bread). Taste is again bready barley malt, but some sweet hop spiciness is strong across the middles and end of the sip. It’s spicy, so-to-speak. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and San Miguel finishes crisp, refreshing, and a tad cloying. Overall, this is a pretty good, and certainly interesting beer. I’d say it’s worth trying.

Muy común en el sudeste asiático y Filipinas (donde la fabrican), como comenta alguno mas, quizás lo más interesante de esta cerveza sea el diseño de su botella. Por lo demás, poco que destacar.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
The only thing good about this beer is, is the design of the bottle. Boring, slightly bitter aftertaste. Atypical Pils

Bottle. Light clear yellow with no head. Light hop bitterness that barely comes through in the aroma, but otherwise devoid of anything here. Flavor is a bit sweeter, with the hops nowhwere to be be found. Light, crisp carbonation. Not really all that drinkable ice cold even.
