Old note from 2008, gift or bought? Clear pale golden color, moderate white head, disappears quickly; sweet nose, grain, grassy hops; light sweetness and bitterness; light body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation is soft; sweetbitter finish

Poured from a bottle into a glass while in Thailand. Aroma has a medium light graininess. Medium light hop character that is slightly woody as well as floral and grassy. Pours a clear, pale golden yellow with a moderately thick white head that shows average retention. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor has a light sweetness, but finishes crisp and dry. Light malt flavor with light hop notes. Light bitterness. Hops are woody with some floral and grassy notes. Flavor has a surprisingly strong water character to it. No sulfur or diacetyl. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a surprisingly weak alternative to Thai beers, this is very clean but is less flavorful than the Thai lagers. Also, there is something in this beer that is causing me to have an allergic reaction, I believe it is a type of hops but I am not sure which type. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rating #948 - February 3, 2014 - Beer 1 of 8 in @coopwinespirits February Discovery Beer Bag - My first beer from the Phillipines? - Clear golden pour. Bubbly white head. Smells like grassy, grainy euro lager. Taste is up to that par, light grassiness, very light maltiness. Light bodied, barely there alcohol, medium-heavy carbonation. A rip roaring Meh! for me.

0,33L can. Pours and smells like typical macro pale lager. Taste is rather sweet, but somewhat artificial. It is over carbonated. Overall: rather disgusting beer. This one is rather bad even by macro lager standards.

Had a few of these beers while in the Philippines. The beer had an average-dark gold color with a smaller foamy white head with modest retention, lacing, and cling. Its aroma was not distinctive, with lighter notes of barley, grain, and perhaps corn. It was a mostly and lightly bitter grainy beer with some light malt and barley characters. A thinner, average-wetness beer with a light mouthfeel and lower carbonation.

Can, from the can. Aromas of grain, bread, and a metallic note. Easy drinking here and pretty plain. Grain, bread, and a sweet finish. Just decent

Sampled alongside several of the other varieties. This one is very similar to the mig light, but pours a dark piss yellow and the lacing isn’t as sticky. A little more buttery as well. I will say, that off all the brews they make, this is in the top quartile. But that still isn’t saying all that much.
