1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
330 ml green bottle bought at Market Place by Jason’s in K11, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Clear golden yellow colour; Half finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Small lacing and slightly fizzy carbonation; Pungent smell of malt, with corn syrup, light canned peaches, light musty, light bread, light lemon and light grass; Medium sweet taste of light malt, with notes of tartness, light syrup, soggy bread, soda, hint of metallic, thin lemon citrus and very light grass; Mid to light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is slightly maltier macro Pale, with thicker palate but still really watery. Sweet syrupy soda water, soggy and stale, plus slightly tart notes, faint metallic and hint of wet paper. Poor… Hoppiness is very light lemon and faint grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is barely detectable. Sugar water finish; Wet after taste, very easy and quite sweet to mouth.
Comments: This is a poor Premium Lager: watery, slightly more maltyness, sweet, soggy, barely any hoppiness, and bits of off tastes floating around. Slightly better other San Mig’s Asian macro Pales, but don’t waste your time with this garbage brew.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can drank from the can. Classy can might I say! Aromas of grain, bread, and a touch of sweetness. Full body compared to all the other San Miguel brews. No sweet adjunct flavors here. A bit grainy finish but really smooth. Touches of caramel come to mind, mixed in with grain. Nice brew and a real surprise.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
one of the best container designs also has one of the better contents! Pours the darkest out of the group, but still barely discernable. This one is like a fuller bodied and slightly more flavorful version of the pale pilsen. Not as hoppy as the super dry, but falling somewhere in between.

Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, diminishing. Odd, grainy aroma. Flavor is mainly sweet.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Yeah I knew before I had the bartender chill this in ice for 7 min. that all malt meant all bad. Its golden with an all white head. Ha! And it smells like cereal grains, sweet and possible with sugar added. San Miguel phillipino beer sucks and you already knew that. So why? For the sake of sobriety!!!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
San Miguel?s newest and hoppiest offering. Notes of honey, sweet corn, and toasted cereals. Light and refreshing down the hatch. Golden pour. A refreshing brew that is probably the closest commercially mass produced beer I have had to a decent craft beer. Recommended.
