The nose has aromas of low intensity. It could be of hops. The taste is slightly bitter. The final intensity is low but we guess more clearly the hop aroma with citrus notes. Its aromas are slightly marked a beer low pretension damage. However, it is significant because it is very cool in summer.

Bottle at my hotel in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. Transparent gold with minimal white head. Aroma of corn and wheat. Tastes of corn, malts and wheat. Very funky and not good, but refreshing on a hot day.

Typical lager with nothing special in it. There is absolutely nothing going on in this beer. Just drinkable beverage. In hot and stuffy Philippines it’s refreshing as hell.

A slightly sweet aftertaste from a very refreshing and pleasant lager. Deservedly rising in popularity in the UK. Strikingly better than most bottled beers available in typical British bars and virtually always worth whatever they are asking for it.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 Review: Bottle of San Miguel pale lager, 4.8%ABV A tasty beer that’s easy to drink and a refreshing choice on a hot summers day. The appearance is that of a typical lager, golden and clear. It has a very thin head that disappears quickly, with a small amount of lacing. Not a strong aroma which smelled fresh and clean. Slight grainy aroma. Taste was light and smooth with traces of grain and a soft aftertaste .
