BEFORE RATING, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TEXT

If you’ve had San Miguel in Europe after 2010, you liklely had the 5% version brewed under licence by Carlsberg in the UK. Put your rating at San Miguel (Europe)

If you’ve had San Miguel in Europe before 2010 it is likely you had a version ranging from 4.5% to 5% - most likely 4.8% - brewed in Spain. Put your rating at San Miguel (Spain)

If you had San Miguel outside Europe, you most likely had a version brewed in the Philippines or Hong Kong. Either this one, the one termed San Miguel Pale Pilsen, or the one termed San Miguel Premium All-Malt. It is possible that they are all the same beer, but with different names, but at this point we don’t know for sure.

Bottle . Had it on a train because there was nothing else cold on a hot day. Pale gold, yep looks like a lager, tastes like a lager. Not offensive not rubbish, but nothing exciting either

Bottle. Pours light yellow with a thin white head. Grainy malt aroma. Sugary sweet with some cereal malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, no bitterness. Not that bad.

Bottle @ my parents.
Pours pale golden with a small, nice, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet, some hay and weak brewing cereal. High carbonation and rather thin mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, some maize and just a touch of hops. Better than most beers in the same class.

650 mL in Kathmandu, Nepal. This is overall a very poor imported lager and one of the more expensive ones too. Pours a clear, clear yellow with a temporary white head that dissipates like a soda drink. Aroma of corn, cereal, rice, and tonic water. Taste is like club soda with some corn and cereal in the mix and an overall stale, doughy malt taste. Very poor.

Golden with a rocky head and lots of sparkle. Aromas are sweet malts and grain. Flavours are crisp, grainy and sweet. The finish is more sweet than dry. Too much carbonation "burb".
