Unclear, amber colored, medium- white head. Aroma is of malt, some toast, very yeasty and estery fruit, bit sour nose. Taste is medium- sweet malt and caramel, toasted bread, quite yeasty with some "dirty" fruity esters, light+ bitterness. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation.

Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into a lager glass. Appearance: Blurry vivid/dark amber/reddish (like forest honey), with long-lived small/medium foam. Aroma: Honey, yeast. Palate: Moderate density. Light/gently carbonation. Taste: Light sweetness (honey) wrapped with bitterness. Overall impression: Very tasty and enjoyable. Nice bottle and label.

50 cl bottle@restaurant in Split. Pours cloudy amber with average, quickly dimishing beige head. Roasted, slightly spicy aroma with some sweetness present. Taste mirrors the aroma - thankfully balanced with a good hoppy bitterness. Spices kept in check - making the beer more agreeable than interesting. Medium body, somewhat oily texture. Lingering aftertaste of hops, brown sugar and just a hint of spicyness. Good Vienna - especially at the ABV - but not with the depth and character of e.g. the stronger Carlsberg 47.

Une belle bière ambrée au nez complexe sur des notes maltées, une pointe épicée et houblonnée et une bouche droite et nette avec une fine amertume en finale.

500ml bottle from Mediterraneo Bar, Rovinj, Croatia (37 kuna):
This one was a beer that proved to be quite a disappointing effort, particularly when compared the same brewery’s Czech pilsner. Drinkable but weak & very bland with not enough coming from the aroma or taste. Some nice pale malts & bitterness featured early on but things faded fast & left me disappointed; definitely a beer that I was expecting a lot more of.

Cloudy amber color with small white head. Malty and chestnut aroma. Feels watery. Like some Belgian ale. Medium to high carbonation with medium body. Nice beer.

Bottle 50cl. @ Maksimilijan Garden, Korcula (30/8/15). Cloudy chestnut amber, average frothy light beige head, slowly diminishing, fair lacing; sweet malty nose, toasted, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits, light licorice, bit spicy; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, roasted; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste roasted bittersweet, spicy notes; expected more but nevertheless a decent Vienna.
