50 cl bottle@restaurant in Split. Pours cloudy amber with average, quickly dimishing beige head. Roasted, slightly spicy aroma with some sweetness present. Taste mirrors the aroma - thankfully balanced with a good hoppy bitterness. Spices kept in check - making the beer more agreeable than interesting. Medium body, somewhat oily texture. Lingering aftertaste of hops, brown sugar and just a hint of spicyness. Good Vienna - especially at the ABV - but not with the depth and character of e.g. the stronger Carlsberg 47.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Une belle bière ambrée au nez complexe sur des notes maltées, une pointe épicée et houblonnée et une bouche droite et nette avec une fine amertume en finale.

500ml bottle from Mediterraneo Bar, Rovinj, Croatia (37 kuna):
This one was a beer that proved to be quite a disappointing effort, particularly when compared the same brewery’s Czech pilsner. Drinkable but weak & very bland with not enough coming from the aroma or taste. Some nice pale malts & bitterness featured early on but things faded fast & left me disappointed; definitely a beer that I was expecting a lot more of.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours very carbonated, thin head. reminds me of some Belgian beers i’ve tried but it has a little less kick in the taste. Colour is amber orange, very cloudy similar to a weizen dunkel. Fairly pleasant beer, would be a nice for the sun, unfortunately i live in Scotland.

Bottle at Buzz Bar. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of pumpkin and stewed apple. Flavour of caramel, grass and earthy hops. Medium body with an oily texture. Very soft fizz. Not particularly complex but very drinkable (and a bit overpriced).
